Lesley Hatfield

Within VisionFirst, Lesley collaborates closely with global clients, assisting them in defining project scopes, desired outcomes, required resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for economic development initiatives. She plays a pivotal role in strategizing, implementing, and maintaining initiatives that are in alignment with organizational objectives. Lesley’s dedication to delivering five-star service enables her to establish strong connections with clients and identify opportunities to better support their business goals.

Lesley earned her degree in Communications from Florida State University and began her career in the technology sector before shifting to the public accounting industry where she served as a marketing executive for several of Florida’s leading CPA firms including Gregory, Sharer & Stuart, Pender Newkirk & Company, Warren Averett, and James Moore & Co. For each of these firms she developed growth strategies and instituted structure and accountability for industry practice groups. Her efforts in public relations garnered multiple “Best Workplace” recognitions. She demonstrated exceptional growth leadership by coaching team members through large sales opportunities, proposals, and presentations, and managed each firm’s business development pipeline process.

 In 2018, Lesley relocated her family from Tampa to Northwest Florida, where her roots run six generations deep on both sides of her family tree. She took on leadership roles within her hometown Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission and was selected for the inaugural class of Leadership Northwest Florida. These experiences sparked her passion for economic development initiatives, leading her to this position.
