She is known for her ability to translate vision into action, helping our team operate with clarity, discipline, and purpose.

VisionFirst’s team rely on Marla’s strong operational background and people-centered approach to strengthen internal alignment, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making. She plays a key role in business development, client engagement, and firmwide operations, ensuring each project reflects both strategic intent and high-quality execution.

Most recently, Marla led operations and strategic initiatives for a premier mixed-use commercial property, where she managed capital projects, vendor partnerships, and community engagement efforts that enhanced value and improved client experience. She also founded a leadership consulting practice that worked with organizations across multiple industries to strengthen leadership pipelines, build communication frameworks, and support organizational growth. Earlier in her career, Marla served with a national professional services firm, guiding firmwide initiatives in employee engagement, internal communications, and leadership development.

Marla holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi State University. Based in Jackson, Mississippi, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, exploring her community, and finding new ways to help people and organizations thrive.
