TALLAHASSEE, FL — [December 1, 2025] — VisionFirst Advisors (VFA) is expanding its team with the addition of Marla Saxton, whose blend of strategic insight and relationship driven leadership will support the firm’s next chapter of growth. Now in its 10th year, VisionFirst Advisors works with companies and communities nationwide to evaluate sites, analyze workforce and infrastructure conditions, shape incentive strategies and guide projects from early due-diligence through final decision.
In this role, Saxton will help deepen the partnership-driven approach that defines VFA’s work. She will work closely with the team to strengthen business development, refine internal operations and enhance client engagement supporting VisionFirst’s continued standing as the nation’s premier boutique economic development consulting firm.

Marla has more than a decade of experience in operations, strategy and organizational development across professional services, real estate and consulting. She most recently led operations and strategic initiatives for a premier mixed-use commercial property, where she managed capital projects, vendor partnerships and community engagement efforts that enhanced value and improved client experience.
Marla also founded a leadership consulting practice partnering with organizations across multiple industries to strengthen leadership pipelines, build communication frameworks and support organizational growth. Earlier in her career, Marla served with a national professional services firm, guiding initiatives in employee engagement, internal communications and leadership development.

Saxton holds an MBA and a BA in Communication from Mississippi State University and is based in Jackson, Mississippi.
