Hard to believe if was five years ago today we launched VisionFirst Advisors as part of the Butler Snow LLP family of enterprise companies with offices in Tallahassee, Orlando and Jackson Mississippi.
Our firm continues to grow with economic development strategy about equal to our corporate work products. VisionFirst works with five Fortune 500 companies and has led projects representing communities of all sizes in more than thirty states. Our success is based on listening to our clients, identifying their needs and delivering solutions that can be implemented with successful results. Sounds like a sales pitch, but these are core beliefs.
VisionFirst’s corporate work includes site selection, incentives negotiation, incentives compliance, location strategy, workforce initiatives and creative problem solving. Other economic development services include, elected officials training, community competitiveness, strategy development, marketing plans and strategic communications and marketing strategy.
I am proud of our team and the work we have accomplished. Moving forward we will continue to hold true to the values that set VisionFirst apart from other consulting practices. These values were defined early own by our founding team that include me, Griff Salmon and the late Melissa Medley. Her wisdom and spirit continue as VisionFirst looks to the future. Melissa imparted to our team the value of a partnership with a client and after the engagement asking: have we made a difference, is the client in a better position and do we feel good about the engagement?
