VisionFirst partners to help Santa Rosa County maximize CARES funding

VisionFirst Advisors, and its strategic legal and financial partners, have been selected by Santa Rosa County Florida to access, maximize and expedite $32 million in funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

In March, the CARES Act established a $150 billion relief fund to financially assist state, local and tribal governments to preserve businesses, jobs and protect residents from the public health impacts of COVID-19. The funding is being allocated within strict timing and eligibility guidelines, and governments have been given a limited window to determine, assign and execute eligible projects. Funds must be obligated by December 31, 2020.

“The effects of the COVID-19 virus are far-reaching, and our counties serve on the frontlines to help residents maintain their health and allow businesses reopen safely,” said Gray Swoope, President & CEO of VisionFirst Advisors. “Along with our partners, we are pleased to provide a seamless approach to allocate and disburse these critical funds in Santa Rosa County.”

Understanding the critical needs and urgency, the consulting team is providing guidance, process management, compliance and advisory services to disperse the funds effectively and transparently to the benefit of its residents and businesses.
